My first poem in TBI recovery: "by Pip Wilson on Friday, 28 January 2011 at 11:51
Written as my return piece for Bellingen Poetry Night, Jan. 28, 2011
I dedicate this to Misty Hanley, who I have long loved more than I’ve ever loved before. (My many progeny, of course, are in a different category.) And apologies to past wives.
Now, this bit before the pome is about me. I wrote on Facebook, I’ve heard too much bunkum about events. Some of it can hurt people other than me, so I must set the record straight, if only once. Thank you for listening thus far.
If curious, please only ask the one world expert on it all. Me. The amount of misinformation is ridiculously high. Boring to others, but annoying to me. Let’s have the truth about Pip and what happened. It was nearly my murder, so please! I have a phone now. J 9-5 only!"

We want a tidal pool: Urunga - Local News - News - General - Bellingen Courier Sun: "Mr Petitt said water in the lagoon was meeting environmental standards. “I haven’t heard of anyone getting sick after swimming in the Lido.”
“Urunga is the jewel in the crown of Bellingen Shire. Other centres have their swimming facilities. We want one here in Urunga at the old Lido site,” Mr Petitt concluded.
The Committee was empowered to begin negotiations with Council and the relevant government departments for a tidal swimming facility on the site of the old Sea Lido."
